How
Bought it.
Well?
After an initial slight disappointment with this camera, I have learned to really love it. It’s ridiculously hard to get sharp pictures out of it, half the pics are either overexposed or underexposed, and it produces scores of tiny negatives that take forever to scan. Half the time when I load a new film, I spend ages fiddling with it because the film gets stuck, or the winding mecahnism.
And yet I love it. I bought it especially to take with me on difficult hikes, when every bit of weight counts (so no metal-and-glass camera’s, let alone an SLR). For the tack sharp show-your-mother-pictures I bring a digicam, for the analogue love, I bring my Diana Mini. Low-fi, vintagy, soft focus, the pictures never quite turn out as I hoped, but they always surprise me and rarely disappoint me. As long as I remember to only use it in bright daylight…
Oh, and I really, really like the endless panorama feature, and the possibilities of the splitzer.
