Kodak
Well?
This false color infrared film is a pretty legendary film. It is sadly no longer available. There was a guy selling the last remains on the internet, but he has run out as well. Luckily, I was able to snatch a few rolls, because if you see this film, you have to try it. It takes a bit of effort to get decent pictures with
color infrared film, but the results are out of this world. Skin turns yellow, plants and foliage turns pink and red, flowers and clothes change color.
A few things to remember when shooting this film:
- You need to use a red or orange filter. I used orange in my pictures.
- Focus lies slightly different in this film. Check your camera's manual. I only used a small aperture, and no close-ups, to ensure sharp pictures.
- The film is very sensitive to visible light. Tape off any red windows in your camera, and load/unload film in total darkness.
